12 Days For The Year That Was – July 2015

It’s already the 20th here on this side of the world. 5 days before Christmas. Who’s excited? 😀 To be honest, I cannot say that I feel the Christmas spirit just yet. I still have loads of pending work to complete and a lot of work that needs to get done in my apartment before I can go on vacation. This place really needs a lot of work and since it is so hard to coordinate schedules with the caretaker, I have been making a lot of temporary solutions to resolve the issues this place has. Oh well. So, I […]

12 Days For The Year That Was – June 2015

It’s still raining outside, making the weather a lot cooler in the big metro than what the people are used to, I think. As for me, I love this cool weather. I can say that I am able to take advantage of using my blanket fully. 🙂 And my fan is still turned on for that matter as well. Haha! Oh well, I am from the mountains so this kind of temperature is nothing new to me. I was trying to think back to what happened this month and I really cannot think of any that has significant value. It […]

12 Days For The Year That Was – May 2015

So it’s already 6:30AM on this side of the world. It’s already light outside and I have just finished baking 4 batches of chocolate chip oatmeal cookies to complete a 17 pack order. It was tiring but also very fulfilling. I never expected it but I am really happy that a few people appreciate my baking. I didn’t even have the guts to really put it out there and turn it into a business but my office mates were already badgering me to sell to them. So I am happy. It’s already the 18th here; 7 days before Christmas. Time has […]

12 Days For The Year That Was – April 2015

It’s almost 4AM on this side of the world. Where did the time go? It was just 2AM a while ago… It’s been raining almost the whole day today. Traffic was really bad and taxis are nowhere to be found. Grab and Uber surges are way too much too. Sheeesh. Let’s look back on what happened to my life last April of this year. April marked my 10th year of living in the big metro. When I first started out, I never entertained the idea of staying in the big metro this long. I gave myself 5 years only, just enough […]

12 Days For The Year That Was – March 2015

It’s already 5AM on this side of the world and I am just about to get some sleep. It’s still dark outside, too. A sign that nights are indeed already longer. The rain has stopped as well though I am not sure if it will still rain later on. I just hope that there will be not much traffic since classes are already suspended. The heavy rains had caused flood in some areas within the metro. Anyway, I think March was one of the low points of my life this year. I was too stressed out at work. It seemed that […]

12 Days For The Year That Was – January and February 2015

I was planning to start a 12 blog posts for 12 days of Christmas but I have already missed two days. I kinda lost count, actually. Haha! I was thinking of doing another series of 12 Days of Gratitude – just like what I did last year – and then I thought, why not do something different? So here is what I am thinking. Since I have already done 12 Days of Gratitude last year, why not recount the things that I have been most grateful for for each month of this year? Sounds good? I’ll be doing January and February […]

All My Bags Are Packed…

One month has gone by so fast. It seems like it was just like a few days ago when I went home to the mountain city to pick up my little Z and bring him to the big metro to stay with me for a month. Tomorrow, well, in a few hours’ time, we will be travelling back home to the mountain city. I will be coming back alone again. I have finished packing all his things (clothes, toys and supplies) and seeing his cabinet drawer empty saddens me. I know I should be sleeping now as we have an early […]

The Baker Wannabe

It’s been more than three weeks since I last posted something here. Talk about busy schedules. 😛 The past few weeks have been a bit hectic for me. For the first two weeks of this month, I have been alternating between work and cleaning the house in preparation of my little boy being here with me for a month. He’s been here with me (along with his nanny, of course) for the past two weeks now. And since then, my schedule has been divided into work, mommy duties, therapy sessions and doctors appointments. Anyway, one of my hobbies for a few years […]

How’s it Going, Momma?

It’s already the eleventh month of the year. And I have just glanced at my system calendar and I am reminded of this line – “remember, remember, the 5th of November”. Yep, it’s already the 5th of November this side of the world. Seriously, where has time gone? Why so fast? This post is just going to be some babble from me. It’s already past 5AM here but I have just gotten comfortable in my bed as I type this. I should be sleeping, I know. I guess I just wanted to drop a quick post before I lose it […]

Blogapalooza 2015

In just a few short days, this coming Sunday, is one of the events that a lot of bloggers are waiting for – the Blogapalooza! Blogapalooza started in 2011 with an annual Blogapalooza event that run for a day. It was an invite only event that only Bloggers and Businesses can attend. The rule was simple, Businesses present their products / services and build relationships with the Bloggers, while Bloggers get to see what’s new and network with Businesses to make deals happen. The idea came about as there are too many blogger events each day, it would be hard for […]
