I now have a 4 year old boy and travelling with him is so much different from when I was on my own. Travelling with a preschooler is also very different from travelling with a baby. When I used to bring a single bag, now, I have multiple bags just for the little boy. Sleeping through the whole journey is no longer an option. LOL!
Combining everything I have learned from all of my road travels for more than a decade, here are 5 tips that I can share to make sure that your family’s road trip is hassle-free.
Ever heard of Merries diaper? This is Japan’s number 1 diaper brand for 10 consecutive years*. And this is now in the Philippines.
There are a lot of diaper brands in the market nowadays. And while we have a lot of options, sometimes, it makes it harder to find the one that will suit our baby’s needs. Using the wrong diaper for our baby may lead to leakages, discomfort, and other health concerns.
For this brand, since I had a small sized diaper and doesn’t fit my little boy, I opted to do the water test. I have wanted to do this for a long time now since it looks fun to do. Here’s my findings:
I enjoy watching short films (or usually called shorts) from different brands. They usually leave you with different kinds of emotions, depending on the message they want to send out. But have you noticed that oftentimes these shorts require a handful of tissues to be on hand before watching? And Sun Life’s short films, #SunShorts, are no exemptions.
Brushing kids’ teeth can be such a core at times, especially when they are in their toddler to preschool years. Don’t you agree? Z loves “brushing” but he doesn’t really brush his teeth. He’s more than likely to just chew on his toothbrush and eat all the toothpaste. LOL! I have been replacing his toothbrush on a monthly basis because he makes it his chew toy.
It’s been quite difficult letting Z getting accustomed to brushing as I think his gums are overly sensitive. Kids with Down syndrome are usually known to have some sensory issues and it makes it difficult to get them to finish the task of brushing his teeth.
So, how do I make brushing more fun for him?
I’ve heard such great reviews about Belo Baby products from other moms in my circle that I have been wanting to give it a try. So, first on my line up? Belo Baby’s latest addition to its collection – Belo Baby Talc-free powder. Why we love the Belo Baby Talc-Free Powder:
Dove is celebrating their 60th anniversary and they have lots of treats in store for those who will be purchasing Dove products through Lazada today, May 5!

Z used these products last December and lasted until January for the bath and shampoo. The powder lasted until March this year and he still has a little left of the lotion and the cologne.
Just like the Baby Care Plus+, the scent of the Kids Plus+ is very light and really pleasant. For the Baby Care Plus+, it has a powdery scent. For the Kids Plus+, it has a light fruity scent. It’s actually perfect for this summer.
Here’s what I like about this line:
I highly recommend this book to anyone who’s thinking about getting out of the rat race and starting a business but doesn’t know where to begin. But more than that, I highly recommend this book to students who are starting to plan out their future. It is best that they learn this earlier on instead of making the same mistakes that we all go through before realizing that we’ve wasted so much time in figuring out our way to financial freedom.
