I should already be sleeping at this hour since I have an early training tomorrow. Note: 9 AM is way too early for me. 😛 I was already late yesterday for an hour and I don’t want to be late today. After training, I will be going straight to the bus terminal so I can go home to my baby love. I can’t wait for this day to end. It doesn’t matter if my apartment needs cleaning and my hamper is full. I’ll take care of that next week when I come back (yep, good luck to me). Anyway, yesterday, […]

Family Date @ Star Cafe
About a couple of weeks ago, the news that Star Cafe and Restaurant along Session Road in Baguio City circulated the cyber neighborhood. Star Cafe is one of the oldest restaurants in Baguio. I think the ones that are as old have already closed a long time ago. The restaurant is located at Lower Session Road, near the newly built (well, relatively new I think) tall building at the corner of Upper Mabini Street. After 74 years in business, Star Cafe is closing its doors. According to the news article, there are no successors within the family and the owner is still […]
Wednesday What-nots: 2 Years; Then and Now, etc.
It’s already Wednesday in this side of the world – 2AM. I left work on time because I felt that I was no longer being productive. I was just starting at my screen most of the time – probably trying to get my laptop to do the work for me, haha, I don’t really know. I was out of focus for some reason. Now I am at home and was not really planning to blog but for some reason, the open Chrome tab for WordPress was beckoning. So, here I am, trying to squeeze my brains out for something to post. So […]
Roadtrippin’
Last Sunday was the very first time that little Z and I went on a long trip together without my sister. As I mentioned previously, my sister went home last Wednesday and Z and I were left alone for a few days before going home to the mountain city on Sunday. Given that Victory Liner suspended their advanced booking for about a week or so (I just learned from my friend that as of Saturday, advanced bookings are again allowed. What a bummer!), we had to get to the terminal very early to be able to get a ticket for the 10:15AM […]
Work/Stay at Home Mom
First and foremost, let me say kudos to those Moms who are either SAHMs or WAHMs. I actually don’t know how you all do it. I have been alone with my son since Wednesday this week. As mentioned in a previous post, I have filed for leave from Wednesday to Friday this week to stay at home with my son so we can spend precious time with each other. My sister was not able to extend until end of this week as she had some pressing matters that she needed to take care of as well. So, there. This is the […]
Wednesday What-nots
Okay, not so creative title for this post, I know. But I have a lot of random things that I wanted to write about and I don’t think it is really efficient to put them on separate posts. I have something about my little Z, too, but that will be the only exception. Workweek Craziness I have secured approval last week for a 3-day leave starting tomorrow, Wednesday, until Friday. However, it is a crazy week this week at work due to a lot of transitions going on. So, even if I will be on leave, I will have to […]
A Perfect Date with Dad
I never got to bring my Dad on a real father-daughter date. I guess I was too late in planning it. There will never be a time when I could tell him, “let’s go on a date, Dad.”. My only consolation, I guess, is that I was able to thank him for everything he’s done. I was able to tell him I love him before he passed away.
I guess what I could do once I get my own car is to continue with the planned date on my own and dedicate the trip to my Dad instead.
When the Thought is Gone
Have you ever had that experience when you are not able to access your blog yet you have this great thought running in your head that you just want to blog about and once you have access to any gadgets that can enable you to post a blog, all thoughts are lost and you are left with this one big empty hole in your head with the question, “now, what?”? Yep, I am in that kind of a loophole right now. Amidst all the emails I needed to respond to at work and all other tasks that I needed to complete, I had […]
Drained…
I have a few topics in my head that I have been wanting to blog about and as much as I would really want to do one right now, it seems that my brain is now  in limbo and I am sure that I won’t be able to get a coherent thought out of my dried up brain cells. This week was the start of the long, rigorous process of system migration testing at work. Fourth day into the first stage and issues are piling up faster than the speed of light (Kidding! but you get my drift). It is Frustrating, […]
