I’ve been hearing good things about Cafe Yagam so I was eager to try the place out. So on the last day of October, after visiting my sister to find gold from her stocks of clothes (aka ukay-ukay for sale – I found two very nice tops!), we headed to Cafe Yagam for our afternoon coffee treat.
Situated in a residential area, the house-turned-coffee shop has that feel that makes you feel right at home. They have wooden floors, wooden tables and chairs and big windows that lets the cool mountain breeze in. The surrounding area is quiet, too, and none of the city’s usual hustle and bustle. It’s a perfect place for people wanting to enjoy the cool Baguio weather and to have conversations with friends.
Are you ready for the Lazada Online Revolution? Sale starts in a couple of hours so make sure you have your coffee ready as it is going to be a long night!

I now have a 4 year old boy and travelling with him is so much different from when I was on my own. Travelling with a preschooler is also very different from travelling with a baby. When I used to bring a single bag, now, I have multiple bags just for the little boy. Sleeping through the whole journey is no longer an option. LOL!
Combining everything I have learned from all of my road travels for more than a decade, here are 5 tips that I can share to make sure that your family’s road trip is hassle-free.
I miss this blog. I haven’t been blogging for quite a while now because of all the millions of things I have to do. Whenever I get to find a time to sit down and start writing, I see something that needs to be done immediately. So the blog takes the backseat again. My list of pending posts is growing longer and as much as I want to publish it all, the functioning braincells left after a long day clamors for sleep. I’m already feeling it. I’m burned out. I need a vacation. I need rest. I need a new […]
Yesterday morning, my best friend, RB, and I went Divisoria shopping. With only a couple hours of sleep, I dragged myself up for a quick shower before meeting her across the street before 9 AM.
Since we have planned tasks to do separately, we took a Grab car on our way to Lucky Chinatown in Binondo. It was actually my first time to go to Divisoria via that route. Truth to be told, in all of my 12+ years of living in the big metro, I’ve only been to Divisoria for about 10 times or less. No kidding!
If you are considering McDonald’s McCelebrations for your little one’s birthday party, read on to know our experience about having one. I recently posted the first part about the party inclusions as well as the requests I had. You can read it here. Let me tell you how the day of event went on this post.
Z celebrated his 4th birthday by having a McDonald’s McCelebrations party last September 2 at McDonald’s El Pueblo, Ortigas. I never really planned to have a birthday party for the little boy this year.
I finally decided to throw a party for the little boy about 3 weeks before the schedule. Ha! Talk about cramming! Good thing that the second option for a location I had in my list was available on the schedule I wanted.
Goodness! I haven’t posted a single blog for the past couple of weeks now. I really miss it. It has been a very busy month at work and it has eatig more of my time than I have anticipated. Hoping to be able to get a few pending posts up within the week though. Hang on, my readers and followers (if there are any). I have a few reviews coming up. Plus a lot more stories to tell. I just need to get through these couple more weeks alive. 😊
The last time I’ve sewn something (except for the occasional clothes repair) was a pillow case. It was hand sewn, too. That was way back 12 years ago. I came to the big metro with very few things it could actually fit in one big luggage. And since I needed pillow cases, and I had scrap fabric big enough for one, I went ahead and sewed one instead of buying it from the mall which was, to me, that time, very expensive.
So I was really excited to sew something a bit more complicated than stitching two ends of the fabric. LOL!
