MBP’s Mad Hatter Halloween Party

It’s been almost two weeks since the Halloween party of Mommy Bloggers Philippines and it is just now that I am able to sit down and blog about it. It felt like the event happened just this weekend, though. LOL! Anyway, it was our second time to attend a Halloween party. I’m serious. We don’t believe in Halloween so when I was younger, we never participated in any trick-or-treat events. The first ever Halloween party that I’ve attended was MBP’s first Halloween party two years ago. 🙂 You can read more about it here. Last year, my son and I were not […]

Mad Hatter Hat – A DIY Project

I love crafts. When I was a kid, I got interested in needleworks – sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidery (mostly cross-stitching). I even helped my Mom make small items out of popsicle sticks  – like letter holders, pen holders, and photo frames – which we have sold during community bazaars around Christmas time. In my high school days, I learned how to make friendship bracelets out of embroidery threads and have given some of them to family and friends. It never really bothered me. I lived for that kind of environment.

Of Halloween, All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days…

And here I am once again, blogging on the way to the mountain city. Yep, I am going home for the weekend. Good thing that I bought my bus ticket last Monday when I arrived in the big metro. The queue at the ticket booth was so long, it already reached the main highway. There was a time that I don’t go home during these times because of the heavy traffic jams on main thoroughfares as well as the hassle of lining up to buy a ticket or queueing for a chance ride. And besides, I used to enjoy the […]

MBP’s Halloween Party

Last Saturday, we attended the Mommy Bloggers’ Philippines first Halloween Party. Unfortunately, my son doesn’t fit in his Superman romper anymore and I didn’t have time to look for ideas for his costume, much less DIY it. So my son was costume-less during the party. Anyway, I didn’t expect that the event was going to be that grand. I was thinking probably about half of the actual attendees will be there and there won’t be that much activities happening as well that that many sponsors for the event. My family don’t believe in Halloween and we don’t celebrate it as well. […]
