Blabber Chapter: Post Go-Live Woes

For every project that I was a part of, the go-live is never an issue. The real issue begins after go-live where you encounter issues upon issues that you’ve never considered during testing stage.

Same thing applies after I migrated my blog. I am encountering things, not necessarily an issue, that I’ve never considered before. It’s baffling, really, to realize that I need to do a lot of manual work after migration. I’ve been editing posts and links for the past few days now and I am not yet done

Stop and Smell the Roses: Raising a Special Needs Child in a Fast-Paced World

Raising a special needs child in this modern world is not easy. I lived a fast-paced life. Cramming 48-hour tasks in a 24-hour day, even sacrificing rest and family time, just to get something done was my norm. I barely had time to appreciate the sunrise nor the sunset or even enjoy a cup of coffee without trying to finish another task. However, I needed to make drastic changes to my fast-paced lifestyle when my son was born.

We Are Live! Diaries of a Control-Freak Mom, v2.0

It’s been almost 3 weeks since I last blogged and I have been itching to blog since then. I had to stop myself from blogging because it will be additional work to a still work-in-progress new home. LOL!

So, here we are, my dotcom page. My v2.0. And this is a trial run, just to check if things are all working fine. There are still a few revisions to be made (and I just noticed, a couple more posts to migrate) but so far, we are good to go.

Product Review: MamyPoko Extra Soft Pants

For about a year now, I have been buying the little boy’s diapers from Lazada because, I find it cheaper to buy from them than from the supermarkets. So with every promo period, I buy about 2-3 boxes of diapers which is good for about 2-3 months which gives me big savings in the end. I have used a different brand of diaper for the little boy since he was born. I tried a few brands as well and to my dismay, I wasn’t satisfied with them. One of the brands I tried was a MamyPoko variant but I found […]

Merry Christmas!

Nothing much to say here for now. Just dropping a quick note to greet everyone. May this season be filled with love and joy and happiness all around. May we find blessings in every gift we unwrap and may we be a blessing by the gifts we give. From Zaine and I, we wish you a merry, merry Christmas! Cheers! 😊

Christmas Is Here Again

It’s already the 24th on this side of the world and it is just now that I am posting something Christmas-y. It’s been a chaotic start of the month and with all the appointments crammed before the holidays, well, I didn’t have time left to sit down and totally write something cohesive. Anyway, I’ve put up the tree in my apartment a few days into November. Given that we won’t be spending the holidays in the big metro, I opted to have the tree up a month earlier than I usually do just so we can have something to look forward to. […]

Mommies Get Gifts Too…

Not counting the yearly tradition of gift exchange we have in the family, it’s been years since I have joined any gift exchange activities with a group. So when Mommy Bloggers Philippines came up with a gift exchange activity this year, #MBPGiftSwap, I eagerly signed up because it is the first time that I got to experience gift exchange activity without meeting the recipient of my gift. Gifts were shipped to recipients and I got to ship my gift to someone down south. I really found that cool! 🙂 Another reason why I joined? Because mommas get gifts, too, during the […]

Ladies And Gentlemen, Science Circus Has Come To Town!

MANILA, Philippines – Be ready to #EnterTheScienceCircus! Science Circus: Step Right Up! is the 5th traveling exhibition of The Mind Museum,  supported in part by Mastercard, Limkaco Industries, Uratex, and Thompson Hardware and Lighting Center. The Science Circus: Step Right Up! showcases the amusing, the peculiar, and the extraordinary in our everyday experiences, in the form of interactive exhibits that deceive the senses and boggle the mind. While the nearly 250-year history of the circus abounds with awe-inspiring demonstrations of physical skill – such as high-flying aerial artists, to death-defying daredevils – the Science Circus challenges our traditional notions of […]
