Plug-In: Crochet and Coffee

It’s been almost a week since the last post and I have been itching to post something for the past few days but I have been getting anxious and stressed out with work lately because of the high expectations and tight deadlines. I’ll keep it at that. LOL

Anyway, my brother (yes, my BROTHER), has just started his own blog to showcase his hobby – crocheting. It may be unheard of for some and quite unusual to find a guy who is into needle craft such as crocheting and knittingΒ but I think it is no different from finding a guy who knows his way around a sewing machine. Besides, my brother is a lot more knowledgeable about crocheting than I am and a lot of women I know. πŸ˜€

So, why Crochet and Coffee? Well, he is into crocheting since he was 8 years old and he is a coffee drinker, too. So why not combine the two things that you enjoy, right? Simple as that.

  1. Wow! When I had baby number 2, I tried (and failed) crocheting. I wanted to make those beanie hats that look good in the pictures. I only managed to make a long rectangle and then I became too busy already with the boys. Hay. Fail. Haha! I ended up buying one. Now, I know where to look when I need one again. πŸ™‚

    1. Even before I had my son, I tried to crochet again. I found a pattern for a pretty top but I never got to finish the project. LOL! I think the only thing I completed was the glass holders when I was still in grade school because it was given as a project. I don’t even know how to crochet a bootie or a mitten for that matter. πŸ˜€

  2. Wahh.. so cute ng creation nya! I wish I have patience to crochet. In my husband’s country, crocheting is a popular hubby for women esp the elder ones. Hubby asked me to try it so I can make mittens or pullovers for our daughter for winter but no, I really don’t think I can do it. I’d rather sew than crochet. Haha.

  3. Wow! Your brother is really good in doing crochet! The finish products are awesome! This is one thing I’ve never learned from our Homemaking class. Thanks for sharing!
