It’s been almost a week since the last post and I have been itching to post something for the past few days but I have been getting anxious and stressed out with work lately because of the high expectations and tight deadlines. I’ll keep it at that. LOL
Anyway, my brother (yes, my BROTHER), has just started his own blog to showcase his hobby – crocheting. It may be unheard of for some and quite unusual to find a guy who is into needle craft such as crocheting and knitting but I think it is no different from finding a guy who knows his way around a sewing machine. Besides, my brother is a lot more knowledgeable about crocheting than I am and a lot of women I know. 😀
So, why Crochet and Coffee? Well, he is into crocheting since he was 8 years old and he is a coffee drinker, too. So why not combine the two things that you enjoy, right? Simple as that.
Check out some of his creations:
Here are some of his creations worn by my little Z:
Go check out my brother’s blog whether you’re into needle crafts or coffee or just appreciates anything handmade: http://gantsilyoatkape.wordpress.com/
He’s also got a Facebook fanpage: Crochet and Coffee
And I think he will be accepting made to order beanies or scarves so you can just leave him a comment in his blog or in his fan page. 😀
Yipee! thanks for the plug-in!..=)
sure thing 😀
Wow! Ang galing naman, nagco-customized ba sya? Gusto ko sana magpagawa para sa amin. 🙂
Hi Rackell, Yes, he makes customized beanies din. You can leave him a message sa FB page nya or sa blog din nya if you’re interested.. 😀
Wow! When I had baby number 2, I tried (and failed) crocheting. I wanted to make those beanie hats that look good in the pictures. I only managed to make a long rectangle and then I became too busy already with the boys. Hay. Fail. Haha! I ended up buying one. Now, I know where to look when I need one again. 🙂
Even before I had my son, I tried to crochet again. I found a pattern for a pretty top but I never got to finish the project. LOL! I think the only thing I completed was the glass holders when I was still in grade school because it was given as a project. I don’t even know how to crochet a bootie or a mitten for that matter. 😀
Hehehe, daig pa tayo ng brother mo! 🙂
Korek! LOL! 😀
Wahh.. so cute ng creation nya! I wish I have patience to crochet. In my husband’s country, crocheting is a popular hubby for women esp the elder ones. Hubby asked me to try it so I can make mittens or pullovers for our daughter for winter but no, I really don’t think I can do it. I’d rather sew than crochet. Haha.
I think I already failed in the needle craft department, myself… LOL 😀
Wow! Your brother is really good in doing crochet! The finish products are awesome! This is one thing I’ve never learned from our Homemaking class. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, he is really good. I think he’s got most of the artistic genes from our folks… 😀 thanks for dropping by! 😀
Cool! Grabe, to think he’s, you know, a he! Hehehe! Is he selling some of these? I want to buy for my little one! 🙂
Yes, he is a guy who is into needle crafting :-)… He does sell some of his creations. You can drop by his FB page to leave a message for queries 🙂
nice crochet stuff, I enjoyed looking at the photos.
Thanks, Armi! 🙂
How talented! Haven’t heard of a guy doing crocheting so this is very interesting!
Apparently, there are quite a lot of guys who are into crocheting (after reading some of the comments in my brother’s blog.. 😀 ) Now that I think about it, my brother is so far the only guy I know who can really crochet
My mom loves to crochet and she really finds time for it. I don’t know how to crochet, tinalo pa ko ng brother mo. 🙂
I learned how to crochet when I was 7 or 8 years old, like my brother. But I never got as good as he is now.. 🙂
Great talent. I’ll find a design I like and will message brother dear to order. Galing ng pinoy eh.
I want to go back and make crochet items din. I want to learn how to knit too!
Galing. Now lang kasi ako nakarinig ng guy na mahilig sa crochet. I believe talent din to 🙂 Liked the page and at in the future alam ko na where to get these kind of stuff. Thank you for sharing this. ♥
Thanks, Yvette! I agree, talent din sya. 🙂
I am following him on FB and WP! I even showed his works to a few office mates! 🙂
Thanks, Jhanis 😀 The lil big bro is preparing for stuff to sell at a christmas bazaar this December and he said he can take orders by January 😀
