Updates, Updates

Is it too late to say Happy New Year? Hahaha!

We’re already in the third week of the second month of the year. How the heck did that happen?! The last post I did was a continuation of my nanny saga and unfortunately, until now, we haven’t found a replacement. The agency is not responding to my queries as well. Oh well. But I am very, very grateful for my mom who always, always steps in whenever I’m in a bind. Shout out to my mom!

I’ve been neglecting this blog for a while now that I actually lost followers and readers. But if you are still here reading this, I sincerely thank you for sticking around. I still have so many stories to share and I am making changes in my daily schedule to allow some time in this space of mine. I do hope that you, my reader, will stick around through my journey.

For quite a while now, I have been thinking of what to do with my blog. Ever since I went dot com, I tried so hard to curate my posts to be more SEO-friendly (which is still a hit or miss for me, I don’t think I will ever figure out this SEO thing. So if anyone is willing to train me, I will be so grateful, I will bake you a batch of chocolate cupcakes. No kidding!), and followed whatever blogging rule I find that I kinda lost the sense of why I started blogging in the first place.

This blog started as an outlet of mine. It was a space where I could dump my thoughts and share my journey as a single mom with a child with special needs. Starting this blog somehow saved my sanity. The stories I first shared here were raw and no filtering was done. I just wrote whatever I could think of and that was that. And I wanted to bring that back. It no longer matters if I rank in Google’s first page (though admittedly, it would be great to find some of my posts up there). I just want to stay as raw and as real in documenting my journey from now on. There will be some changes in this blog soon. I just have to figure out where to start but hopefully, I could get it done this year.

I just wanted to get this out there. And if you are no longer interested to read my posts, I still want to thank you for being with me in this journey no matter how long you’ve followed this blog and my Facebook page. And if ever you decide to stick around, I promise you, I will make it worth your while.

So be ready for more single, working momma stories as well as updates on Z’s development. I do hope to share more of those as well because I truly believe that there will always be someone who will be able to relate and to learn a thing or two from it.

Our journey continues in this minuscule space of mine in this big, wide world called the cyberspace.

Stay tuned. 🙂

PS.: Have you seen my recent FB page/IG posts? One is a truly wonderful garden restaurant in Baguio and another one about knitting. Haha! I will share more of those soon in this blog.

See you around!
