It’s been a long while since I blogged. And to be honest, I have missed doing this. I have a lot of attempted posts that never saw the light of day and remains in my drafts up to this date. I’m not even sure if I will still publish those. Who knows, I might be able to make it work. LOL!
So, it’s the last day of the year. Have you made your New Year’s resolutions yet? I’m not really a fan of NY resolutions. What I have been attempting to do for the past few years was write goals that I want to achieve by the end of the year.
A lot of my goals didn’t pan out this year though. But that’s not going to stop me from writing another set of goals to achieve for next year. I haven’t started writing it down yet though. I think I might do that after this.
Anyway, 2018, just like any other year, was another challenging year. But if there’s one thing that I really learned this year, it was to find something to be grateful for despite the outcome of the day. It doesn’t have to be something big, you know. It could be as simple as being able to smell the coffee when you wake up. Or even being grateful for getting the chores done.
I’m not going to make this long. Let me just say this:
As we come to an end of another season, let us look back and be grateful for all the things that we have gone through. To 2018: for all the lessons taught, for the challenges we have faced, for the joys we experienced, for the happiness we have felt, for the new friends we’ve made and for the old friends that stuck around, thank you!
And as we remember all the blessings that we got for this year, let us look forward to a more rewarding 2019. To better opportunities, more blessings, and greater love!
